About UniversalSymbiosis.org | Steve Hourmouzis
Who we are, what we do, and the aims of this web site
My name is Steve hourmouzis - I am the founder of UniversalSymbiosis.org. I fund most of the developments explained on this web site from my own pocket, I maintain this web site, and I am the forum moderator.
The one central aim of this site is to make Earth a better place to live for ourselves, and for future generations. While that sounds almost like a chich'e you hear all the time, this is no ordinary environmental web site. For example, while the average energy research web site may tell you about the existence of electric cars, this web site will tell you exactly where you can purchase one. In other words, this web site is not merely passive talk about important issues - it is action.
While my primary focus is energy research, this web site addresses a broad range of critical issues that affect every one of us. I do not intend this web site to merely make just a small difference. I intend to promote it heavily with my own resources, and with your help. Whether or not it makes a major difference it yet to be seen, however at the very least I expect it will realistically make a significant difference to a large number of people - and if it achieves this, then at the very least, part of my goals have been achieved.
Aims of UniversalSymbiosis.org:
Most legislators are not aware of critical new technology that needs urgent attention for development.
I do not and will never claim to have all the answers, or to be correct with everything I say. Like most people, I base what I believe on facts. But you may not be aware of critical facts, until you read them on this web site for yourself. Even after you see the facts for yourself, I'm not going to just assume you'll believe what I believe - after all, we are both individuals. But it's not important that we agree on small points. What's important is we agree on the major points, and it's really not that difficult. For example, do you believe we should pursue every legitimate means to eliminate our dependence on oil? Do you believe we should stop destroying the environment, and actually repair it instead? Do you believe it is worthwhile to pursue technology that can potentially make phone calls to anywhere around the world almost free? The questions are indeed rhetorical.
Even religions with very strong opposing viewpoints can agree on what really counts. How many different religions all say in different words to be "nice" to each other?
